Tracking your visa application [fr]
You may track your visa application by entering the receipt number and the date of birth of the visa applicant as they appear on the printed receipt given at the French Consulate on the day the application was submitted. Both items must be specified.
Only the last 10 digits of the receipt number are to be entered, the first 5 characters being automatically determined and pre-entered: the terminal code is YUL: The first two digits of the year will be those of the current century, for example, 20.
Three cases are possible:
1. A decision has been pronounced “decision taken,” the visa application has been processed. Please submit your passport before 10:00 a.m. along with the OFII document (if applicable). You will be able to collect your passport and visa between 3:00 and 4:00 p.m. on business days.
2. The visa application is still at the processing stage.
3. The record you are seeking is not on the central server; try searching again in 24 hours.
